Features of the CV780 Series Electrolux Central Vacuum Cleaners
The ZCV780 is the series name for a line of Electrolux central vacuum cleaners. It is composed of three Electrolux central vacuum cleaner models: the ZCV781, ZCV782 and the ZCV785.
Designed according to traditional principles, the Electrolux central vacuum cleaners have been designed to be placed at only one location so they were made to be heavy and not to be carried around. The lightest of the three weight 7.5 kilograms without the dust, while the heaviest weighs a net of 10.5 kilograms.
Common features of the ZCV780 Central Vacuum Cleaners
Being a series, these three central vacuum cleaners share some common features. These features are the following:
1. They are made of 100% VALOX plastic. This material is resistant to being scratched and to heat. They also do not rust.
2. They all come with an ultra flexible installation system. This system has multiple points unto which you could connect an intake pipe from a specific location in your house. They also have multi-directional exhaust connections.
3. They have a 99% probability of collecting dust from the floor, and a 76% chance of sweeping dirt and dirt from carpets.
4. They are also installed with safety features to protect their motors from overheating.
5. They operate at the same rate.
The ZCV781 Electrolux Central Vacuum Cleaner
The ZCV781 is the smallest among the three ZCV780 models. With a width of 419 millimeters, a height of 592 millimeters and a depth of 381 millimeters, the ZCV781 is ideal for small to medium-sized homes.
In contrast to its two bigger brothers, the ZCV781 Electrolux central vacuum cleaner uses a paperbag filter. This filter is replaceable, which means instead of messy emptying you only take away the paper bag and install another one in its place. These bags can carry up to 23 liters of dirt and dust.
Powered by a 1300-watt, 1-stage TF high power motor, the ZCV781 Electrolux central vacuum gives a maximum suction power of 515 watts.
ZCV782 Electrolux Central Vacuum Cleaner
Similar in most ways to its younger brother, the ZCV781, the ZCV782 central vacuum cleaner is also powered by a 1-stage TF high power 1300-watt motor. It gives a slightly more powerful suction at 518 watts.
That is where the similarities end. The ZCV782 has larger dimensions that the ZCV781, measuring 419 mm in width, 878 mm in height and 381 mm in depth. Instead of a paper bag filter, the ZCV782 Electrolux central vacuum cleaner uses a textile filter that cleans itself. Thus, the filter is virtually maintenance-free. Its collection bucket is big enough to carry at most 32 liters of dust and dirt.
You can also choose to install an optional paper bag filter to complement the existing filter. Like the ZCV781, these bags can carry up to 23 liters of dust and dirt.
ZCV785 Electrolux Central Vacuum Cleaner
The ZCV785 outrules its central vacuum cleaner siblings in terms of power and features. It is the only one of the ZCV780 series of Electrolux central vacuum cleaners to feature an LCD display through which you could monitor the status of its filters, airflow and the cleaning process in general.
It is powered by a 3-step, bypass motor, which is capable of producing power of up to 1750 watts. Because of this, its suction power is higher compared to the ZCV781 and ZCV785 at 562 watts.
Electrolux has installed a special sound protection inside the vacuum cleaner’s components themselves, so that the noise level of its operation is eliminated or minimized. Not that it matters, because central vacuum cleaners’ power units are placed in a remote location which more or less insulates the house from the noise.
