I had mine for 11 years when my house caught on fire. Be very leary of buying from Electrolux. They only let you try a product for 3 days, which they failed to tell me after I signed the contract. Stuck with a 1450.00 vacuum cleaner that I do not want. I tried to tell them in under a week that their upright was too heavy and not easily manuevered. They only said that I had signed a legal binding contract, and that was all they could do. This company is NOT interested in making their customers happy. Go buy an Oreck. It's American made!!!!! And they give you 30 days to try for your money back.
