I agree with everything about the rainbow. I had mine for 11 years when my house caught on fire. The rainbow survived, I took it and had it cleaned to get the smoke smell out of it, and i am still using it to this day

In response to Ms. Shields remark and for clarification any product sold door to door and is over $50 the government says you have 3 business days to cancel your contract. If you order by mail or phone or internet a product like Oreck it is 30 days also Government. If you go to the store and pick a vacuum cleaner out it is really at the discretion of the one selling it.

Buyer Beward for Electrolux. Be very leary of buying from Electrolux. They only let you try a product for 3 days, which they failed to tell me after I signed the contract. Stuck with a 1450.00 vacuum cleaner that I do not want. I tried to tell them in under a week that their upright was too heavy and not easily manuevered. They only said that I had signed a legal binding contract, and that was all they could do. This company is NOT interested in making their customers happy. Go buy an Oreck. It's American made!!!!! And they give you 30 days to try for your money back. I hope I just saved someone a big headache.
